‘Fanta’

Over the last few months I have been working with ‘Fanta’ to research and investigate the relationships between parents and teenagers in modern Britain.

Having studied the findings I believe the research does much to dispel some of the most common myths and perceptions about the current state of parent/teen relationships. The generation gap really does seem to be closing at last, despite existing wisdom depicting much more of a doom & gloom scenario with the stereotypical view of teens being that they are egocentric, self-centred, lazy and far more badly behaved than previous generations.

They appear to have a very high level of awareness and understanding of their parents wants and needs, plus a healthy desire to conform to them. Parents also appear very well aware of their teenager’s thinking style, meaning parents and teens are in tune in a way that has very likely never been achieved in the past.

We hope this guide helps to demonstrate this and provides a set of handy tips and suggestions for bringing you closer to your teen than ever before.
